To keep up with this course, I’ve had to set timers and do
things in advance. Each assignment takes time and must be looked at at the
beginning of the week, in case you have a book to read or lecture videos to
watch.
At some points, I’ve felt as if the amount of work was too much, but I pulled through, got the interviews/read the book, and completed it. I got myself through it by thinking of goals in life, and how if I can’t do just simple assignments, such as these, where will I end up?
The three tips I will offer are the following- At some points, I’ve felt as if the amount of work was too much, but I pulled through, got the interviews/read the book, and completed it. I got myself through it by thinking of goals in life, and how if I can’t do just simple assignments, such as these, where will I end up?
look at the work in advance. Do not save it all for the last minute.
No matter how hard it might look, it won’t be that bad, and soon will all be in the past.
Other people will review your work, so make sure it’s professional and ready to be shown off.

Hi Danny,
ReplyDeleteI agree that time passes very quickly and the struggles we go through in class are short-lived. That helps us put greater amounts of energy into projects.
Peer reviews are a big part of the class. Writing knowing that others will read and comment on your writing is certainly a boost and a better motivator for writing quality material than doing something for the grade.
Looking ahead is a must to prepare for the week’s assignments. Knowing what’s coming up helps us plan in advance how we will complete the assignments in a timely manner.
Hey Danny! I can definitely agree that this class sneaks up on you if you don't look at the assignments ahead of time. I really liked that you said that if we can't do simple posts for a class, how will we be able to do anything else in life? I think that thought will cross my mind now every time I think about not wanting to do an assignment for this class, and it'll help me get through it, so thank you! I can agree 100% that the blog posts should be professional, because in the age of the internet everything we post anywhere can be under scrutiny. It is important to constantly present oneself in a professional light and strive to be considerate of others, even if we think no one will ever see our comments or posts. This post would for sure help a new ENT 3003 student! Keep up the good work!
